Installation

Install only from the official Chrome Web Store listing.

Roblox Server Scout does not use automatic downloads, fake browser prompts, ZIP installers, or direct-message installers.

    The store page will be linked from getserverscout.com when it is available.

    Review the permissions shown by your browser before confirming.

    Use the browser Extensions menu for quick access to the popup.

    Reload Roblox tabs that were open before the extension was installed.

Check the listing before installing

  • The official name is Roblox Server Scout.

Troubleshooting

Try these checks before reinstalling anything.

Roblox pages, browser permissions, API limits, and other extensions can all affect what Scout can display.

Refresh the Roblox page

Content scripts may not attach to a Roblox tab that was already open when Scout was installed or updated.

Check extension access

Open the browser extension manager and confirm Roblox Server Scout is enabled and allowed to run on Roblox.

Wait and retry the request

Roblox APIs can rate-limit, time out, or temporarily omit server details. Wait briefly before scanning again.

Test for extension conflicts

Temporarily disable another Roblox extension to see whether both are modifying the same part of the page.

Reset only the affected setting

Use Scout’s clear or reset control for the affected feature before clearing all extension data.

Update the browser and Scout

Install the latest stable browser update and confirm the newest available Scout version is enabled.

Include the exact version in a report.

The full number helps separate an old issue from a current build.

Chrome or Edge

  1. Open the browser menu.
  2. Open Extensions, then Manage Extensions.
  3. Find Roblox Server Scout.
  4. Read the version from the extension card or Details page.

Inside Scout

Some versions also show the version in the popup, settings panel, or diagnostic view. Include the complete number, such as 3.1.11, rather than writing only “latest.”

What is Roblox Server Scout?

Roblox Server Scout is a browser extension that adds better server controls, Quick Play, recent lobbies, themes, custom backgrounds, profile utilities, marketplace tools, saved records, and other useful features directly to Roblox.

How do I install Roblox Server Scout?

Install it only from the official Chrome Web Store listing linked from getserverscout.com. Review the permissions, confirm installation, and refresh any Roblox tabs that were already open.

Why is a server region unavailable or estimated?

Roblox does not always expose enough information to resolve an exact location. Scout uses confidence labels to distinguish exact results from estimates or unavailable results.

Why does Scout need access to Roblox pages?

The extension must read the current Roblox page, add its interface, identify the relevant experience or profile, and communicate with Roblox services used by the selected feature.

Why does Join Best sometimes remain disabled?

Join Best remains disabled when Scout cannot identify a suitable exact server candidate or when required server information is unavailable.

How do I reset Scout settings?

Open Scout Settings and use the relevant reset or clear control. Reset the affected category first. Clearing extension data through the browser removes all local Scout data.

How do I remove a custom background?

Open Theme Studio or Settings, select the default background, or use the remove or reset background control. Uploaded background media is stored locally in the browser.

How do I report an incorrect server region?

Email support with the Scout version, Roblox experience URL, displayed region, whether the label said exact or estimated, why you believe it is incorrect, and a screenshot with unnecessary usernames hidden.

How do I uninstall the extension?

Open the browser extension manager, find Roblox Server Scout, and select Remove. Supported browsers may also show Remove from browser when you right-click the extension icon.
